This section of the Retail POS app allows you to manage your product inventory. To access your Product Database, tap on the menu (located at the top left side of your screen) then tap on ‘Products’. Once you tap on ‘Products’ from the side menu bar, you will be taken to your product inventory.
Add A Product
Select the category you wish the product to be added to. To add a product, tap on the icon located at the upper right hand side of your screen.
Fill in the following fields, as desired:
Once you fill out the desired fields, tap on ‘Save’. To cancel adding the product, tap on ‘Cancel’. Note: All products added from your online Merchant Console will automatically sync to your Retail POS app.
There are two methods to delete a product from your Product Database: - From the product’s information profile - From the product list of a specific category
Tap on the category where the product is located.
Your product list will appear for the selected category on the left side of your screen. Swipe left on the product you wish to delete.
A confirmation pop up will appear. Tap on ‘Yes’ to continue. Tap ‘No’ to cancel.
The product detail page shows inventory levels for the warehouses attached to the local user. Each attached warehouse will show the following fields:
- Quantity on Hand - The current inventory in the warehouse.
- Quantity on Order - Inventory currently on order.
- Status - This shows the status of the Quantity on Order. If there is nothing on order, the status will be Pending. If the order has been fulfilled or rejected, the status will be Current.
You can request to add inventory from the product detail screen. Follow the steps outlined below.
Requesting Inventory in Application
Tap on the plus sign to open the inventory request screen
Enter the inventory amount you would like to request:
Select your desired warehouse in the dropdown menu.
Once you have entered both the requested amounts and the warehouse, select save.
After you save the inventory request, you will see that the Quantity on Order reflects the inventory request and the status will be updated to Pending.
Fulfilling Inventory Requests
You can fill inventory request using the Inventory Receiving Screen in the merchant console.
To add a product category, tap on the + icon. Refer to image shown below.
A pop up window will appear. Enter the category name on the field provided then tap on ‘Ok’.
To delete a product category, swipe the category to the left. Refer to image shown below.
A pop up window will appear to confirm the deletion. Tap ‘Ok’.
